Don't be quick to put blame on guns

Before all the anti-gun politicians decide that they are more clever and more erudite than the Founding Fathers and begin campaigning to repeal the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution (and propose to eliminate the right to own firearms) in response to the Northern Illinois University and Virginia Tech shootings, perhaps we should suspend judgment and wait for more information to come to light about the students-turned-homicidal-maniacs.

What about the doctors who prescribed the psychotropic medication for the berserk-killer students? What was their role? Were they completely out of the loop on what subsequently happened to their patients?

Will the moral of these stories be, "Yes, we have no bananas" as long as you stay on your medication, and get rid of gun ownership?

One thing is absolutely certain: If guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns.
