Do you really want to be on your own?

I think I may have a solution about the battle in Washington on universal health care.

First, the pros and cons are separated. The pros get universal health care with all the goodies attached.

Second, the cons don't have to partake in the plan; have their socialistic Medicare removed and be left on their own. If they get sick, lose their homes and end up in the emergency room poverty stricken, they should be sent to the death panel right outside the door who will remind them that they "chose" not to have health care.

This way, they can be "real" Americans like our Republican pioneers by not helping or be helped by their neighbors and die alone. What's more, they can go to their graves knowing that they never fell victim to socialism, fascism, communism or any other "foreign" ideas. They can even stop being Sunday Christians without guilt for not helping their neighbors during the week in a time of need.
