What will happen with public option

Unlike the redistribution of wealth (where 60 percent of the people pay zero to a mere 4 percent of the tax bill), which may or may not affect your family, the redistribution of health will very likely affect you.

Are you OK with footing the bill and have your choices and access to the best doctors and cutting edge treatments limited for you and your family? Now, I know we have all been told we can keep our plan if we like it, right. Well not so fast. You more than likely work for a small business. Many are going to elect to let their employees go to the public option and simply choose not to offer private insurance any longer. Others will elect to pay the fee into the public fund because it is much more cost effective than paying for your private plan.

So, now your question should be what are the limitations of the public plan compared to what I have now?

I am for reforming and cost cutting, but to think the insurance companies can cover all of these very expensive cutting edge, life saving procedures and cover everyone in the country and do it all for less is just naive.

You and I will be giving up something if we are going to be in the same pool as the "newly insured". How can we not have to give something? As I dig into this deeper, I will be picking up a pen and reaching for the phone but it is not to support it.
