Bormann will make you proud to live in Bartlett
I am writing this letter to ask my fellow Bartlett residents to support Sherry Bormann for Village President on April 7.
I had the pleasure of traveling to Springfield with Sherry on two occasions to discuss the need for smaller school districts within U-46. Sherry displayed her passion for both education and Bartlett in a manner that impressed me to no end. Her approach to legislators left them with the inability to dispute our argument, that things had to change in U-46 for the good of all the communities involved. Regardless of the outcome of pending legislation, she will always ask the tough questions and put education at the top of her agenda.
Sherry's approach has been to stick with the facts, they are on your side. She is engaging, bright and articulate. I am so proud she represents our community.
Not only does she base decisions on true facts, but on common sense as well. Sherry's job is to focus on what is good for the community as a whole and I believe she has shown that both in her charity work as well as a trustee for the village of Bartlett for the past 6 years. Her strong financial background certainly doesn't hurt either as you can tell from our balanced budget.
Even though Sherry doesn't get much publicity, seek attention, or even pats on the back, you can be sure she is working hard and striving to improve our community. She has helped make our community beautiful and realizes what the hiccups still are as anyone can see. I guarantee she's working on improving them as I type this letter.
Vote for Sherry Bormann on April 7th, you won't be disappointed.
