Limbaugh called for socialism to fail

Mr. Greg Brownfield's letter sets up a false premise and then sets about proving it wrong. Not difficult since it is false from the start. To say that Rush Limbaugh wants Obama to fail and thereby hopes to deny "success for the American people" is simply not true.

No one, certainly not Limbaugh, hopes for the failure of a plan that would bring permanent improvement in the lives of the people. But what is Obama's plan? He nationalized the Auto industry, the banks have been warned that they are next, the health care industry is already in the cross hairs, and the only mystery is what industry is next and next? This is socialism/Marxism.

Ask the Russians and now liberated Eastern Europeans about the joys and benefits of that now defunct economic/political utopia. The charismatic leader who is on a path to destroy the America that the founding fathers handed down to the generations that followed, the system that has made this country the most successful, most innovative, most prosperous country in the world, benefiting all the people who live in it is Mr. Obama and not "Rush and his fervent supporters."

This Obama grand vision of turning America into a socialist state is what Limbaugh said he hoped would fail. His fervent followers numbering approximately 48 percent of the electorate agree. Right now the socialists are winning.

The game is not yet over. There is still time to save America. The next election is in 2010!
