Wheat for May rose 13.50 cents at 6.7325 a bushel; May corn gained 19 cents at 6.2550 a bushel, May oats was up 6.50 cents at $3.9175 a bushel; while May soybeans advanced 25.25 cents at $14.9725 cents a bushel.
Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Apr. live cattle fell .80 cent at $1.1977 a pound; Apr. feeder cattle lost 2.47 cents at $1.3510 a pound; while May lean hogs was off .47 cent at $1.0760 a pound.
