Adopt a Family program:
The Open Arms Mission food pantry in Antioch is asking for sponsors for their yearly Adopt a Family drive that provides Christmas gifts for children in need in Lake Villa and Antioch. Anyone interested in being a sponsor should call the Open Arms Mission at (847) 395-0309. Sponsors need to sign up by early December and gifts will be given to the children Dec. 19. Open Arms Mission estimates 100 to 150 children will need sponsors this holiday season.
