D62 student design contest is underway
All Des Plaines Elementary District 62 students are invited to enter the 2009 winter greeting card design contest.
The winner's design will appear on a card that is sent during the holiday season and displayed on the District 62 Web site, and the artist will be honored at the Nov. 16 school board meeting. Second and third place winners will also be honored.
Entries must be no larger than 5x7 inches and reflect a winter theme, done in color. Deadline to enter is Oct. 23; winners will be notified by Oct. 29.
