Nicor at Hanover Pk. open house

Nicor Gas's volunteer employee ambassadors will participate in the Hanover Park Fire Department open house this weekend to provide information on natural gas safety at home. Nicor will display hands-on exhibits for adults and youth to highlight key natural gas safety tips and provide free environmentally friendly tote bags. The event takes place 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, at Fire Station 1, 5850 Barrington Road. Hanover Park's is among dozens of firehouse open houses taking place this month.
