Obama has only been in office 8 months

This is in response to a letter from Ron Fogel that appeared in the Sept. 15 Daily Herald.

Wow! That's a lot to blame on a president who has been in office less than eight months - sending soldiers to die in a war that began eight years ago. As for the financial mess and huge deficit that were brought on by the cost of that war and greed in the Wall Street community, maybe Mr. Fogel would like us to return to a year ago when our whole economy was on the brink of disaster.

We're thankful for the advisers President Obama has chosen to help us regain some economic stability and stature in the world.

Chief among the "tax evaders and idiots" selected as advisers is Timothy Geithner who served the previous administration as well. Isn't time to put away partisan divisiveness and work together?
