Mitchell a strong leader for North Aurora

One of my most difficult decisions was leaving North Aurora after living there for 40 years to be closer to my grandchildren. As a two-term village president, part of me will always remain in North Aurora and continue to care and be involved as much as I can with what happens In the village.

I wanted to take an opportunity to talk to my friends and former neighbors about one of the more critical decisions you will make in the upcoming election. I have worked with three of the four candidates running for village president for a number of years. While all of them are nice people, one candidate stands out in my mind above all the rest - Linda Mitchell.

She has the most extensive knowledge of how the village is run from the inside out, Linda always takes the time to research issues before voting and is willing to talk to everyone even if she doesn't agree with them and ultimately does what is best for all of North Aurora.

Linda is the kind of person who learns from the mistakes of others and works to make sure they are not repeated. She has the kind of analytical mind that can find the core issues, determine the best solutions and implement them for the good of all the residents.

In difficult economic times it is important that we elect someone who not only has a plan to deal with our problems but the ability to implement that plan, North Aurora is lucky to have someone as dedicated and knowledgeable as Linda Mitchell running for village president.
