Cougars' home opener postponed to Tuesday
Monday afternoon's game between the Kane County Cougars and Burlington Bees at the newly renovated Elfstrom Stadium was postponed by rain before it ever began.
The game will be made as part of a doubleheader on Wednesday afternoon consisting of two seven-inning games, with Game 1 starting at noon.
Tuesday's regularly scheduled game at noon will continue as planned and now becomes the Cougars' official home opener.
