Which was the more important story?
The headline on the front of your April 4 edition read: "Gays to wed in Iowa." Relegated to page 2 was the story, "Gunman kills 13, commits suicide."
By the positioning of the articles, are you not implying that the human life is less important than the marriage issue? It seems to me that you are pushing your agenda rather than reporting news to your readers.
Thirteen human beings catapulted into eternity. Thirteen families are left to grieve; husbands, wives, children, parents. This is just another blatant example of newspapers attempting to influence readers with the newspaper's agenda rather than the reporting of the news.
