Stone is driven to make things better
As an elected official, I've had the privilege of working with Lisa Stone of Buffalo Grove to better our own community, and I hope voters will consider her outstanding qualifications as they cast votes for the position of Trustee. Faced with staggering statistics on animal licensing, enforcement and vicious dog attacks, Lisa Stone worked relentlessly to help educate our local elected officials and citizenry on the problems and possible solutions. She drew from years of experience as a citizen's advocate and provided data, advocacy and a network of support to help us make the right decision. As a result, our animal control operations have greatly improved, with licensing numbers increasing and vicious dog attacks decreasing. It's a credit to her leadership, expertise and passion that we were able to make changes in our laws and procedures to better protect and serve the community. Most remarkably, Lisa Stone did all of this for our community without any possible benefit or recognition, driven only by a desire to make things better. Her leadership and selflessness stand out in a culture of "me-first" and "attack politics," and I'm hopeful Buffalo Grove voters will consider those facts when they see the name "Lisa Stone" on the ballot. Lisa Stone truly puts service before self, and I'm confident she'll be an outstanding Trustee for the Village of Buffalo Grove.
