Barrington High to feature alumni journalists at homecoming kickoff

"Journeys in Journalism: Past, Present and Future" will be the featured 2019 Alumni Legends program that'll kick off Barrington High School's homecoming weekend.

Set for 7 p.m. Oct. 3, at the high school's auditorium, Barrington High alum Chris Erskine, currently a columnist and editor for the Los Angeles Times, will moderate the panel discussion. Barrington High alumni who work in journalism will be on the panel, including WGN-Channel 9 sportscaster Lauren Magiera, ESPN/ABC Sports coordinating production editor Andy Armas, Chicago-based Fox News correspondent Michael Tobin and Scott Stahmer, a senior production editor at The Villages Daily Sun, which community in Florida.
