Metea High School gets sports equipment

The Indian Prairie Unit District 204 school board on Monday approved $425,420 in bids for athletic equipment for Metea Valley High School and Fischer Middle School. The bids will be split between eight firms to purchase equipment for a variety of sports. The school board also approved $29,701 for athletic uniforms for Fischer. Both schools are scheduled to open in August.
