20 reasons I won't vote for McCain

1. He took campaign funds from big oil, and more money from military contractors.

2. He is tied to corporate lobbyists and their agendas.

3. He supported privatizing Social Security.

4. He is a right-to-lifer.

5. He supports the war in Iraq.

6. He supports the continued colonization of Iraq.

7. He consistently voted against pro-veteran legislation in the Senate.

8. He consistently voted for tax cuts for the rich.

9. He consistently votes for more corporate welfare.

10. He supports free trade bills that ship our jobs overseas to sweatshop countries with no environmental regulations.

11. He supports bills that actually teach U.S. corporations how to move manufacturing overseas.

12. He supports wasting more hundreds of billions of dollars on unneeded or massively overpriced military hardware.

13. He supported Bush's war profiteering contractors, as they stole tens of billions of our tax dollars.

14. He supported financing the war by driving America further into debt.

15. He (like Bush) sees all problems as opportunities to give public money, natural resources, jobs and infrastructure away to corporate interests for free, or very cheap, thereby enriching the wealthy and perpetuating more corporate welfare from our federal government.

16. He has little to no interest in reversing environmental degradation, overpopulation, natural resource depletion, or the crumbling U.S. infrastructure crises.

17. He either doesn't realize that our reputation in many foreign countries is in the toilet, or he doesn't care.

18. I am convinced his temperament and his ignorance and apparent unwillingness to study the geography, culture, history, religion, economics and politics of countries disqualify him as a serious candidate.

19. He attended the Naval Academy and graduated 894 out of a class of 899.

20. McCain and the Republican attack machine will again trot out the same old three G's (guns, gays and God).
