Would Ayers prefer violent protest?

I find it ironic that, when the good people of Naperville use peaceful protest to their local government to change a decision that they disagree with, Mr. Ayers finds it "absurd." Would he rather have us use threats and violent action? I believe he has been hoisted on his own petard.
