Chicago Slaughter improve to 3-0 after win over Raptors

The Chicago Slaughter improved to 3-0 after a 69-38 win over the winless Rock River Raptors on Friday night at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates. Chicago dominated on both sides of the ball, taking a 28-0 lead to open the game. Slaughter quarterback Russ Michna completed 17 of 26 passes for 280 yards and seven touchdowns. Chicago wide receivers Dontrell Jackson (7 catches, 126 yards, 2 TDs) and Donovan Morgan (7 catches, 111 yards, 3 TDs led the offensive attack. On defense, the Slaughter capitalized on interception returns by Dennison Robinson and DeJuan Alfonzo.

The Slaughter's next home game will be 7 p.m. April 11 at the Sears Centre.
