Fire trucks are great for trick-or-treating

For the past two years I have seen the Hanover Park Fire Department roll around the neighborhood during the trick or treat hours while the kids are out there in the neighborhood with the lights on the fire trucks on and once in a while tooting the sirens to attract a crowd.

The trucks' lights and presence during those times help out a lot with telling people to slow down and know that kids are out and about.

I greatly appreciate that because it helps out with the holiday. Thanks again HPFD!
