Services Wednesday for Grayslake woman fatally struck by train
A memorial service is scheduled for Wednesday for a Grayslake woman who was struck and killed by an Amtrak train last week, friends said Monday.
Teresa "Traci" Spradlin will be remembered from noon to 2 p.m. at Symonds Lakes Funeral Home and Crematory, 111 W. Belvidere Road, Grayslake.
Spradlin, 43, was killed Thursday evening after being hit by an Amtrak train at the West Lake Forest train station on Waukegan Road.
Spradlin, an executive assistant at HSBC-North America in Mettawa, was crossing the tracks to reach the outbound train platform when the accident occurred about 5:20 p.m.
Her fiance, Jason King, said well-wishes have been plentiful and he is honored to know Spradlin touched so many lives.
