Obama's lack of experience showing
As any executive that has managed a complex organization knows, focus and prioritization are the keys to success. You can't do everything and succeed, you must focus on the most important things to succeed and live to fight another day. James Caravel got it right during Clinton's campaign when he developed that famous campaign slogan, which is why Clinton got re-elected. Unfortunately, Obama's total lack of executive experience is now becoming apparent. Instead of focusing on the worst economy since the Great Depression and our national security, which is always the number one priority (nothing else is important if you are dead!), he has launched an incredibly complex set of liberal initiatives "to seize the crisis". The complexity has overwhelmed his administration.
While we wait for a solution to the banking crisis which is the root cause of our economic meltdown, he has launched the most expensive pork-filled stimulus in history, threatens to revamp our tax system, is trying to launch a complex cap and trade system and is focusing on every possible social program imaginable. The marketplace has clearly expressed its lack of confidence in Obama's direction by tanking another 20 percent since his inauguration. The investment community believes that Obama's direction is anti-business and they don't want to invest their hard-won money on the risk. That is very bad. An experienced executive would have known better.
