Snow forts can be dangerous

This is regarding the snow fort photos published in the Daily Herald. Snow forts can be fun but are also dangerous. These tunnels or overhangs can collapse and the weight of the snow can crush you. Also during snow storms kids need to be aware of plow trucks. Not all drivers will spot kids playing on the piles of snow. Parents should supervise their kids at all times during tunnel play or even sledding. Have fun but please be careful.
