Northbrook's IDEX acquires German firm

IDEX Corp. said it acquired Richter Chemie-Technik, a maker of lined pumps and valves, for $99 million, a purchase that is expected to add to earnings next year.

Richter Chemie-Technik is headquartered in Kempen, Germany, with facilities in China and the U.S., Northbrook-based IDEX said today in a statement sent by Business Wire.
