DePaul to face N.C. A&T
North Carolina (3-2) A&T at DePaul (1-1)
When: 1 p.m. at Allstate Arena Radio: WSCR 670-AM
The skinny: After facing two unconventional opponents that demanded extra preparation, DePaul was able to focus on itself this week. With his team shooting just 25.7 percent from 3-point range, coach Jerry Wainwright wants to see more easy baskets, either from big men or on fastbreaks. "We're trying to get back to more of a flow game," Wainwright said. "Act more than react." Wainwright is still trying to define a role for senior swingman Karron Clarke, who has shown consistency (7 ppg, 6.5 rpg) the first two games. "If he could do for us what Marcus Heard did last year, that would really make us a good team," Wainwright said. North Carolina A&T has won three straight after opening the season with losses to Saint Louis and Pittsburgh.
