Hope candidate fulfills promises

Your editorial endorsing Greg Gron for village trustee in Lombard stated, "We're impressed with his commitment to making basements and the flooding thereof a priority. That shows a good understanding of the nuts-and-bolts issues that concern residents of his district."

We have encountered flooding in our neighborhood, Gron's district, for several years, and many of his constituents have alerted him to the problems with the village's antiquated sewer system. What we'd all like to see is some action on this issue. The problem has gone on for far too long. If Gron is re-elected, we hope he fulfills his campaign promises.
