Still time to light up the night as deadline extended for St. Charles parade

The annual St. Charles Electric Christmas Parade returns at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 28. The entry deadline has been extended until Friday, Nov. 13 or until capacity is reached. Local businesses, community groups, and nonprofits who are interested in being part of the parade can find the printable entry form at stcholidayhomecoming.com.

All entries must include each of the following documents on or before Nov. 13, 2026: A completed entry application; a certificate of insurance naming the St. Charles Business Alliance and the City of St. Charles as additional insureds; and a signed copy of the Electric Christmas Parade rules and safety guidelines.

Also include the fee of $325 for political entries, $300 for business entries, and $50 for nonprofit entries, made payable to the St. Charles Business Alliance.

All documents that are required for an entry must be returned to the St. Charles Business Alliance at 2 E. Main St., St. Charles, IL 60174, or emailed to info@stcalliance.org on or before Nov. 13, 2026. All parade entries will be judged by a panel for a chance to place in their respective categories, with one entry receiving the Best in Show Award.
