Lombard Christmas Mart returns Nov. 7 with new digital tools

Get a festive start on holiday shopping with Lombard’s annual Christmas Mart along West Maple Street from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7.

This community tradition invites shoppers to discover unique gifts, handmade crafts, holiday decorations and more while exploring participating churches and locations throughout the historic downtown area. Local artists, crafters and vendors offer a variety of one-of-a-kind finds for holiday gift-giving.

Shopping tips

New this year, digital tools make shopping at the Christmas Mart easier than ever. The free Historic Downtown Lombard mobile app will help visitors browse participating vendors, find their locations, and plan their shopping trip right from their phones.

Shoppers also can take part in a new digital Christmas Mart punch card, collecting punches through the app as they visit participating locations. The added features offer a convenient way to explore the Mart and enjoy more of the local shopping experience.

Visitors are encouraged to download the free Historic Downtown Lombard app before arriving so they can make the most of their day.

Lilac Emporium

Visitors can also stop by the Lombard Historical Society’s Lilac Emporium Gift Shop, 23 W. Maple St., for Lombard-themed gifts and holiday favorites.

Shoppers can enjoy 30% off apparel at the Lilac Emporium during the holiday event. Members can save even more by combining the 30% apparel discount with their member discount, making it a great opportunity to find something special while supporting the historical society.
