Man charged with firing weapon into Bartlett residence

Bartlett police arrested a Chicago man Oct. 22 in connection with shots fired at a residence last year.

Miguel D. Cruz, 29, is charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm into an occupied building, police said.

Bartlett officers responded Oct. 19, 2025, to a report of a firearm being discharged multiple times toward a residence on the 400 block of Valleyview Drive. Following an investigation, police alleged Cruz fired the weapon during an domestic incident before fleeing the scene.

Cruz was released Friday and is scheduled to appear in DuPage County court Nov. 16.
