Syed understands community, does the work
As Election Day approaches, voters in our community have an important choice to make about who will represent us in the Illinois State Senate in District 26. I hope they will take a close look at Nabeela Syed and her record of service.
Nabeela isn’t a politician who simply shows up at election time. She was born and raised in Palatine, attended our local public schools, and has spent her time as state representative knocking on thousands of doors, listening to residents, and learning firsthand what matters to the people she represents.
Nabeela knows our community because she is part of it. She understands that families are struggling with rising costs. She has sponsored legislation to curb prescription drug price gouging, expand insurance coverage for cancer screenings, and provide property tax relief for seniors.
These aren’t abstract political talking points. They are practical efforts to address the everyday concerns of our neighbors and make life more affordable for the people who call this district home.
Our state senator should be someone who listens, understands our community, and works to deliver results — not just someone who asks for our votes. Nabeela Syed has demonstrated that commitment. Now it’s our turn to show her our support.
In this election, let’s send a neighbor who works for us to the Illinois State Senate.
