Mundelein townhouse plan up for a second vote Monday

The Mundelein village board on Monday will once again consider a development agreement for a proposed townhouse complex on the village’s west side.

An absence and a vacancy contributed to a rare 2-2 vote on the Midlothian Crossing plan last month.

The Huron Group, a Deerfield real estate firm, envisions 68 units in 15 buildings at the southwest corner of Midlothian and Courtland Street. The plan calls for a mix of two- and three-story buildings on the nearly 8-acre site, which is undeveloped.

Monday’s meeting is set for 7 p.m. at village hall, 300 Plaza Circle.
