Elgin’s Bethesda Church hosts vaccine and respiratory health education clinic Nov. 15
Bethesda Church of God in Christ will host “Stay Ahead of the Spread,” a community vaccine and respiratory illness prevention clinic, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, 2026, at the church, 457 Fremont St., Elgin.
Osco Pharmacy will administer flu, COVID-19, RSV, pneumonia and other vaccines based on individual eligibility. The clinic welcomes individuals, age 6 months or older, with vaccine eligibility varying by age and health history. No registration is required. Attendees should bring their insurance card and identification.
Advanced Practice Primary Care PLLC will provide a health education booth covering cold, flu and other respiratory illness prevention, home remedies for symptom relief, and safe use of over-the-counter medications. Education will include medication precautions for people with chronic conditions, recognizing warning signs and knowing when to seek medical attention.
Community members are invited to bring their questions and learn practical ways to help protect themselves and their families during respiratory illness season.
