Heavy morning fog sets stage for warm, dry week ahead
Heavy fog blanketed the region Tuesday morning, leading to reports of near-zero visibility along some expressways and a dense fog advisory from the National Weather Service.
The fog lifted by mid-morning, however, leaving behind sunny skies and the start of a gradual warm-up expected to last through the weekend.
According to the NWS, temperatures will climb into the mid 70s by Wednesday afternoon and remain there through the weekend, as warm and dry conditions prevail.
The mercury is expected to dip down into the mid 40s and lower 50s overnights but not approach the chilly temperatures seen this past weekend.
