Early voting begins Wednesday in suburban Cook
Early voting election in suburban Cook County begins Wednesday at six locations before expanding to 56 sites on Oct. 19.
The initial six locations are the Rolling Meadows courthouse, 2121 Euclid Ave., Rolling Meadows; the Skokie courthouse, 5600 Old Orchard Road, Skokie; the Bridgeview courthouse, 10220 S. 76th Ave., Bridgeview; the Markham Courthouse, 16501 S. Kedzie Parkway, Markham; the Maywood Courthouse (Whitcomb Building), Room 104, 1311 Maybrook Square, Maywood; and the Cook County clerkâs office in downtown Chicago, 69 W. Washington St., Lower Level.
All locations will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Voters can cast their ballot at any location, regardless of where they live in the county.
For a list of sites opening Oct. 19, visit cookcountyclerk.com/EVlocations. Voters can visit cookcountyclerk.com/VoterInfo to view their personalized sample ballot, review the candidates and referendums that will appear on their ballot, and print a copy to bring with them to the polls.
Those who choose to vote by mail can return completed ballots in a secure Smart Ballot Drop Box available at every early voting location.
Voters in the Nov. 3 election will decide the race for Illinois governor, the successor to the retiring U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin and a host of congressional, state legislative and county races, as well as several ballot issues seeking tax hikes.
