Des Plaines officials to talk 2027 budget Thursday

Des Plaines City Council members and other officials will gather this month to discuss a proposed municipal budget for the 2027 fiscal year.

The first meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. Thursday at city hall, 1420 Miner St. A second session is set for 6:30 p.m. Oct. 22, also at city hall.

A third meeting will be held Oct. 28 if needed.

The council typically adopts a budget in November. The city’s fiscal year begins Jan. 1.
