A different look at ‘chaos’

I was amused by Anne Krick’s Sept. 28 letter to the Daily Herald Opinion page stating that President Trump has created such chaos that needs repairing. So let’s look at President Trump’s “chaos”:

Border enforcement from hundreds of thousands unvetted illegals down to zero in a span of 2 months

Passage of the Laken Riley Act targeting criminal illegal immigrants and reduction of fentanyl flow into this country that has killed thousands of American citizens, mostly young people.

Eliminated federal tax on tips, overtime and Social Security.

Operation Midnight Hammer inflicting enormous damage on Iran’s nuclear enrichment capacity.

More than $11 trillion in new U.S. investment commitments resulting in thousands of new jobs

Downsized bloated government by eliminating 300,000 federal employees — government working fine.

Record high stock market — check your 401(k) account

$1,000 Trump Accounts for children.

Creation of U.S. Space Force.

Abraham Accords.

Eliminated DEI nonsense in the federal government.

Lowest murder rate in 100 years.

Just the short list.

Krick advocates a list of what a Democrat Congress might accomplish many of which have already been addressed by the Trump administration or others that are far out that they defy common sense.

Unfortunately the Democrat platform now led by far left wing Marxists (Democrat socialists of America) favor open borders, cashless bail, abortion up to the minute of birth, packed Supreme Court, defund police, defund the Pentagon, close prisons, eliminate the U.S. Senate, eliminate the Electoral College, unfettered gender reassignment/mutilation of children, boys in girl sports and this is just the short list.

As a reminder, the Democrats just voted down voter ID and the ban on insider trading bill by members of Congress (Nancy Pelosi skates again).

So choose President Trump’s “chaos” or the Democrat craziness in November.
