Pottawatomie Garden Club beautifies downtown St. Charles with fall flowers

The Pottawatomie Garden Club planted flowers on the downtown bridges in St. Charles on Wednesday, Sept. 23.

Every spring and fall the club members gather to plant flowers in the downtown area as one of the many things the club does to beautify the city. The garden club also participates in the St. Charles Scarecrow Festival in early October, plants memorial trees throughout the community, and awards scholarships to local students, as well as participating in the St. Charles Fine Arts Show in May.

Next year, the club will be hosting some beautiful gardens as part of their biannual garden walk.
