Downtown garage construction begins in Arlington Heights

Construction begins this week on the Evergreen Avenue underground parking garage in downtown Arlington Heights, causing a temporary change in traffic flow.

Vehicles will enter the parking garage from Evergreen Avenue and exit onto Sigwalt Street. Drivers are asked to follow all posted signage and directions from construction personnel.

The construction area will remain active throughout the approximately six-week project, and construction noise, equipment, and increased activity should be expected during working hours.
