Kane County has open house on flooding

Kane County residents are invited to “What Happens When It Floods Here?” during an open house from 5:30 to 7:45 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, in the Building A auditorium of the Kane County Government Center, 719 S. Batavia Ave. (Route 31), Geneva.

Attendees will learn about river, stormwater and rainfall-related flood risks; share locations where you have experienced flooding; and connect with local experts, tools and resources.

No flood expertise or previous experience with flooding is required.
