Man killed in early morning crash in Aurora
The Aurora Police Department is investigating a two-car crash that killed a man Friday morning at Eola Road and McCoy Drive.
The rollover crash happened around 5 a.m. A 29-year-old male passenger was killed.
It involved a Jeep utility vehicle and a Honda coupe. The man was in the Honda. A preliminary investigation indicates the Honda was traveling east on McCoy, entered the intersection and was hit by the Jeep.
The drivers of both vehicles and passengers in each were seriously injured, according to a news release from Aurora police. They are in stable condition.
Police did not name the man who was killed, saying the Kane County coroner will do so.
