Aurora man faces child porn charges

An Aurora man has been charged with crimes involving child sexual abuse material.
Brendt E. Jimenez, 41, of the 400 block of High Street, is charged with 10 counts each of possessing and disseminating child sexual abuse material, according to a news release from the Kane County state’s attorney’s office.
The release said on or before July 30, he had and distributed video files involving victims under the age of 13.
He appeared at a pretrial detention hearing Sept. 11, where a judge released him with conditions. His next court hearing is Oct. 15.
