Detached garage fire in Naperville causes $40K in damages

No one was injured during a detached garage fire in Naperville Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Naperville Fire Department, firefighters were dispatched to the 30W000 block of Argyll Lane just before 1:15 p.m. and found smoke coming from the detached garage roof. The blaze was quickly brought under control, and the nearby house was unaffected.

Damage is estimated at $40,000. Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
