Arlington Heights hosts ‘Celebration of Abilities’ Sept. 26

The Arlington Heights Commission for Citizens with Disabilities will host “All Kinds of Awesome: A Celebration of Abilities” from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Camelot Community Center, 1005 E Suffield Drive.

The inaugural all-ages event features free activities and entertainment, including therapy horses, crafts, a photo booth and a DJ. Community organizations also will be on hand to offer information about the services they provide.

There also will be a recognition of the Commission for Citizens with Disabilities' award nominees and recipient at 12:30 p.m.
