Where are the police?

In a recent letter, a gentleman from Hoffman Estates noted the rampant violation of traffic laws: speeding, running lights, etc. He asks, “So where are the police?” I completely agree with him. The other day I had to drive over 80 on the Tri-State just to try and keep up with traffic!, and I was falling behind! It makes me think of the policies of the DSA, the socialist wing of the Democratic Party. They want to defund/abolish the police! You think we have scofflaws now! Yikes!
