An invitation for criminals
How could anyone who believes in life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness not oppose the Trump administration’s push to loosen gun control restrictions?
I am a political moderate and former deer hunter who favors reasonable firearms restrictions. In general such restrictions don’t work that well — and Chicago’s gun laws are an obvious example. But to allow the online sales of guns with remote background checks looks to me like an invitation to criminals and other miscreants to use every devious method possible to secure guns and shoot people.
Do we have to make it so easy?
