Fox Valley Beaux Arts hosts ‘Brushstrokes of America’ luncheon and fashion show

“Brushstrokes of America” is the 2026 theme for the popular annual luncheon and Fashions by Chico’s presented by Fox Valley Beaux Arts. The fun begins on Saturday, Sept. 12, at the Elgin Country Club, 2575 Weld Road.

Doors open at 11 a.m. with the event’s popular silent auction and raffles with a delicious lunch at noon. Guests will enjoy the on-trend fall and holiday styles during the fashion show provided by Chico’s located at The Arboretum of South Barrington. Ticket price for this annual fashionable event is $53 per person.

The club recently awarded scholarships to nine local high school seniors who will go on to major or minor in the arts in higher education. Major support for the scholarship donations is raised through this popular annual luncheon event.

Fox Valley Beaux Arts members consist of a wide range of women who are engaged with and/or support the arts and who reside throughout the Fox Valley area. Members of this year’s board of directors are Susan Pepa and Cheryl Hallquist, co-presidents; Loretta Heuer, vice president; Florence Ostdick, correspondence secretary; Katie McBride, recording secretary; Bonnie Henn-Prichard, treasurer; Marge Haefliger and Chris Womac, programs; Barb McGee, scholarships; Rose Engle, membership and publicity/communications.
