Learn about Des Plaines Public Library’s new makerspace

Learn about the Des Plaines Public Library’s new Canvas makerspace in an online program Tuesday, Sept. 8.

The 90-minute orientation session is set for 10 a.m. on Zoom.

Prospective Canvas users must attend an orientation session. They’re offered monthly and by appointment.

The session covers policies, guidelines and safety procedures, and it and gives an overview of the machinery in Canvas. It is not an instructional video.
