Fox Valley Catholic Bible Study to study Paul’s letters from prison

Women of all ages are invited to study Paul’s “Letters from Prison” with the Fox Valley Catholic Bible Study for Women this fall.

While imprisoned several times in defense of the gospel, Paul wrote letters to several Christian communities encouraging them and guiding them. These letters (Philippians, Philemon, Colossians and Ephesians) cover topics such as joy, unity of the church, reconciliation, and God’s eternal plan. Although written over 2,000 years ago, these letters still offer guidance as to how to live a faithful Christian life.

The study sessions will be at 9 a.m. Thursdays, Sept. 17 to Nov. 19, at St. John Neumann Parish, 2900 E. Main St. in St. Charles. A Zoom-only option is available.

A large group reflection begin at 9:15 a.m. This will be followed by discussion of the weekly lesson in small groups. The $30 fee includes the study materials. Scholarships are available. Children, age 2 or under, can stay with their mothers in a special group.
