Arlington Heights hosting KidneyMobile on Aug. 27
The Arlington Heights Health & Human Services Department is partnering with the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois to host the KidneyMobile from noon to 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, at Lutheran Church of the Cross, 2020 S. Goebbert Road.
The KidneyMobile provides free kidney health screenings and education to help identify risk factors for kidney disease. According to the National Kidney Foundation, 1 in 3 American adults is at risk for kidney disease, often without knowing it. Early detection can help prevent or delay serious kidney-related health problems.
Community members are encouraged to reserve a screening appointment in advance by registering online at https://mobilescreening.nkfi.org/preregistration.
