Food for Greater Elgin to host annual golf fundraiser Sept. 14

Food for Greater Elgin will host its 12th annual golf outing and fundraiser, Chip in for Hunger, on Monday, Sept. 14 at Bowes Creek Country Club in Elgin.

There will be a shotgun start at 10 a.m. followed by golf, lunch, cocktails and dinner. Individual tickets and foursomes are $375 and $1,200, respectively, and can be purchased at foodforgreaterelgin.org/chip.

Twosomes and sponsorship packages are also available. All proceeds will benefit Food for Greater Elgin, a regional, guest-choice food pantry serving roughly 150,000 people annually.
